Being born and raised in Alaska has given me the opportunity to view spetacular scenery along with experiencing great wildlife opportunities. Unfortunately I have always had a job away from photography which has prevented me from devoting full time into the profession. But occasionally I'm able to grab a camera and go exploring in Alaska and around the country.

After shooting slides for a number of years, I started experimenting with digital photography in its infancy in 1994. It has only been the last few years that the resolution and quality of "affordable digital cameras" have made digital photography worthy of printing to my tastes. I know use a Canon 5D for my latest photos. This allows me to have prints up to 20x30 that look great. I hope you enjoy these photos and the ones on Alaskaiphoto.com and seldovia.org.
